Eat Lipstick is that very passion and thunder at the heart of Berlin’s music scene—a much-loved and lauded four-piece powerhouse since 2008.
Their live shows have been described as “a glam rock gospel revival” or “Berlin Disco Punk”—a must-see adventure in performance.With a rich history as one of Berlin’s legendary bands, Eat Lipstick continues to weave tales of glam glory.
In 2023, core member Lehua, aka Citizen Pain, sadly passed away. Rest in Power! Her untimely departure has taught the band to share their grief and honor her memory. She wanted Eat Lipstick to embark on their third album, and they are carrying her spirit forward, ensuring her musical legacy lives on.
Continuing to innovate and captivate, Eat Lipstick remains center stage. Anita Drink’s electrifying lead vocals stir the passion of The Shredder and his wicked cat guitar. As founding members, their musical bond fuels the band’s raw energy, while the Pink Wonder Caro Fresh, on bass and backing vocals, finesses and tames their wild, sex-beat-driven sound. At the helm of this ocean of soul, Tom Petersen commands the drums and backing vocals, driving the pulse of Eat Lipstick’s untamed rhythm.
Since their debut album EAT-01-BITCH!, they have created music and performances dripping with dynamic energy. Their second album, NEW WIG – NO RULES!, saw them teaming up with Peaches as producer, birthing a record that blends punk’s unyielding spirit with the joyful rebellion of disco.Now, the curtain rises for their third record, set to drop in 2025! With a bold cinematic vision, Eat Lipstick is forging a rare moment in time—a stage show and crowd response fueled by unbridled energy, ripped from the seams of their lipstick-colored world.
